How does it work?

Go to the Library's Downloadable collection. Use your library card to check out and download eAudiobooks, eBooks, eMusic and eVideos that can be listened to or viewed on your computer or transferred to a portable device.  You can place a hold on an item if it is checked out to another patron.

The first time you download a book using OverDrive, you will be asked to install and register free software. Check out
Overdrive’s Help Files if you need help.

The OverDrive Help Files contain video tutorials to guide you step by step using their services - View this tutorial on using the Kindle Fire to see how easy it is.

There are never overdue books or late fees - titles automatically return to the Library's collection on the due date.

You can check out as many as 5 items at one time.

What else should I know?

eAudiobooks can be transferred to a compatible device from your home computer.

Downloadable items cannot be downloaded to any regular library computers due to software licensing restrictions.
